Jennifer Tagg, LMFT

Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience in her field. She works primarily with adult and adolescent populations with a focus on individual and couples counselling. She works to develop a supportive and respectful relationship with clients while finding creative strategies to help clients move toward growth and personal empowerment.

Jennifer uses evidence-based approaches to collaborate with clients on areas including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, anger, and grief and loss. She is EMDR certified and trained in multiple other modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which she draws from in her work with clients.

Jennifer is a strength based practitioner who believes people possess remarkable resiliency. Her work centers on collaborating with clients to find the balance and change they are seeking. By addressing and challenging maladaptive themes and patterns in our lives, we are able to define and move toward our greatest potential.

Holding space with clients as they move through their personal journey is a true honor. When Jennifer is not in this space, she finds her own balance and rejuvenation through nature, gardening, cooking, and yoga. She is also deeply passionate about her family and works to practice the ideas she shares in therapy in her own life.
