Jenna Halvorson, LPCC

Jenna is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and has been working in the fields of mental health and human services since 2014. She creates a warm, welcoming space for you to explore what's going on in your internal world. Whether it's the tick-tick-tick of anxiety, or the "hit the snooze" blues, Jenna works with clients to create room for letting go of the constant self-blame and critical self-talk that lead to feeling stuck and hopeless.

Jenna's experience encompasses a wide variety of populations and treatment settings, including outpatient therapy, college/university counseling centers, community-based services for housing and mental health support, residential eating disorder treatment, community-based crisis response, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), and shelter-based services for youth/young adults. She has helped clients work through difficulties related to trauma, anxiety/depression, persistent mental illness, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, substance use, eating disorders, grief/loss, life transitions, and relationship or family dynamics issues.

Jenna enjoys drawing from a combination of modalities to help clients expand their insight and fill their toolbox with the methods that work for them. These include: CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, polyvagal theory, solution-focused, and Motivational Interviewing. Regardless of the modality, she will collaborate with you to target the symptoms and issues causing the most disruption to inform the direction of your therapeutic work and strengthen the therapeutic alliance.

Jenna works with primarily 17+, and is an ally for all marginalized communities. She welcomes clients of all backgrounds, and will provide a safe, supportive environment where you can share openly.
